N26 Names New Chief Growth and Marketing Officer and Chief Technology Officer

N26 announced two senior leadership appointments on 5 August 2026 as part of a planned evolution of its executive bench.

Chief Technology Officer

Marcin Pakulnicki joins N26 as CTO effective 1 September 2026, succeeding Gino Cordt, who has served as CTO since 2019. Pakulnicki joins from ING Group, where he helped build and scale the bank’s global mobile and digital technology platform and led its conversational-banking and agentic-AI initiatives.

Chief Growth and Marketing Officer

Nathalie Picquot joins as CGMO effective 1 October 2026, succeeding 11-year N26 veteran Timo Meyer (who previously led N26’s US operations and people function). Picquot spent the last five years leading global corporate marketing, brand experience, and digital engagement at Banco Santander, and previously held senior roles at Google and Twitter over more than 15 years.

What It Means for Users

The appointments are executive-bench changes rather than product or pricing changes — no immediate impact on existing N26 accounts, fees, or features. They signal continued investment in N26’s technology platform (AI/agentic banking) and growth/marketing function as the bank scales across its 24 served EU/EEA markets.
